1) Select Testbed; if not already provided yet as official SMSCG testbed
2) Create an Activity page on website (and/or related ticket for followup)
3) Assign people and start document
4) Certification steps:
   4.1) Install application on testbed and report on installation instructions and/or issues (testbed admins, developers,VO manager)
   4.2) Define validation tests:

4.2.1) XRSL
4.2.2) execution script (if necessary)
4.2.3) input files
4.2.4) expected output
Note: best would be if 4.2.2 would also validate the correctness of 4.2.4

   4.3) Define RTEs and install them in /TEST (testbed admins, developers, VO manager)
   4.4) Run validation tests and document issues
   4.5) Prepare for deployment:

4.5.1) Application installation and configuration instructions
4.5.2) Finalize RTE documentation (documentation should reflect RTE in APPS or ENV)

5) Announce availability to sites
   5.1) Start support sites in deployment
   Note: if testbed is also part of production infrastructure, considerre-do deployment
7) Run validation tests and part of SFT
8) Open for users
  8.1) Start user support
